After finding love on reality TV and in the ballroom, former Bachelor Joey Graziadei now has a date with the streets of The Big Apple. On Nov. 2, the 30-year-old will be one of dozens of celebrities racing the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon.
This will be Graziadei’s first marathon, but given his track record of excelling in things he hasn’t done before, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him perform well.
After finding love on the hit reality TV show The Bachelor, Graziadei was invited to compete on the 33rd season of Dancing with the Stars, which he won despite having no prior ballroom or dance experience. Since then, he has become the host of the show’s official podcast.
Graziadei’s athletic background comes from playing tennis at the NCAA Division II level and a career as a teaching pro before leaving for a stint on The Bachelor. According to his Strava page, his goal appears to be to break the four-hour mark, which is a solid time for an athlete with no prior running experience taking on 42.2 kilometres.
Other well-known celebrities joining Graziadei at the New York City Marathon start line include Canadian YouTuber Cody Ko, The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan, Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora and The Vampire Diaries actress Claire Holt. In 2023, Ko was the most-tracked participant at the New York City Marathon. Check out our recent podcast with him here.
