Sunday’s TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon saw an astounding 7,538 finishers in the 42.2K event—the most ever for a marathon in Canada. Among the standout performances were Ethiopia’s Shure Demise capturing her third career Toronto Waterfront Marathon victory, and Canada’s Rachel Hannah and debutant Ben Flanagan earning their first national marathon titles.
